LNS Logo
Design and development of identity for startup. Logo needed to be flexible, corporate, and meaningful. Three variations of the logo and three variations of the logotype were developed to allow the client to adapt their identity as needed. (Two logos, one logotype displayed.)
NCOCA Championship Medals
Development and design of the 2006 NCOCA Championship Medals. Elements within the medal include: the California Poppy, the fish hook (for safety over water, and to indicate the Hawaiian heritage of the sport), and the NCOCA logo.

Creation, set up and troubleshooting for community site using Wordpress.org. Requirements included ease of use for all levels of users, a simple photo gallery, and a readily expandable platform.
MaestraPeace Artworks Website MaestraPeace is the gorgeous mural that covers the Women's Building in San Francisco. I was fortunate enough to work on the maestrapeace.com website for the artists in 2000. The site is no longer active, but it provided a place for the artists to showcase their own artwork, while also providing information on the mural itself. [The first sample is the design they chose.]
Blogger Template Contest Winner
Selected designs were used by Blogger as their templates. The designs were chosen based on the following criteria: aesthetics, cross-platform/cross-browser compatibility, simplicity, and customizability. It's still on blogskins, and was their skin of the day (my 15 minutes of fame). If you don't believe me, you can read the announcement [PDF, 360 KB]. And it's heavily table dependent, but hey, tables were big in 2000. [original design here--they simplified it for their templates].
QKFP Website
Development and design of queerkorean.org, a bilingual online resource center. Requirements included the seamless integration of Korean and English capabilities, as well as the development of an expandable community resource center and online merchandising. This project was inspired in part by a booklet called "Beloved Daughter," published in 1999 by MAPLBN.
Green Girl Records CD Cover Illustration and design of CD jacket and label for a local independent record company. Solutions included the innovative use of form to present several divergent musical styles while keeping consistent the exuberance and energy of the record label itself.
